Black Oak Casino Resort continues the tradition of offering this holiday season by continuing to participate in the annual Community Cash Grab and Family Adoption programs. The resort has donated more than $12,000 to 10 lucky charities and nonprofits as part of their participation. They also presented Christmas gifts and gift cards to 33 families through the Amador Tuolumne Community Action Agency (ATCAA).
"Black Oak Casino Resort takes great pride in our position within the community," said Aaron Moss, Black Oak Casino's general manager. "We're always looking for new opportunities to show our commitment throughout the year, as well as on holidays."
In November, the Black Oak Casino Resort hosted its 15th annual Community Cash Grab. The event earned representatives of selected non-profit organizations up to $5,000 by giving them 30 seconds to enter the casino's Cash Cube. To qualify for the Cube, organizations had to draft a one-page appeal explaining why they had to be selected. Most recently, more than 30 Black Oak Casino Resort team members gathered to deliver 400 gifts to local families. Items given to families included bicycles, scooters, winter clothes, diapers, and grocery store gift cards. The collected gifts came from the Renegade Classic Toy Run, which is held directly from real estate team members and annually. They were donated as part of ATCAA's Apto-a-Family program.
